PL Series

The original PL Series provides extremely versatile, low-cost, effective solutions for mounting switches, sensors, vision cameras, lighting sources and virtually any peripheral devices that need to be frequently re-positioned, or exact position is not known at set up. All products in The PL Series are made from anodized 6061 aluminum with stainless steel fasteners.  The PL Series is compatible with most products in the Bracket Series.

PL Series in Action - Part Present Sensor Application

In this application the machine builder is utilizing a PL-BASE, PL-SPOST-BK and a Sensor Bracket to hold a part present sensor. The sensor is telling them the part is fully in the nest before it gets indexed to the next position.

PL Series in Action - Kick Cylinder Application

In this application the machine builder is utilizing a PL-BASE, PL- HLINK2IN, PL-KNK, PL-SPOST-BK and a Sensor Bracket for a quality inspection machine. They are inspecting for excess material on top of the parts. If there is excess material it would hit the flag, which is being read by an analog sensor.  They added a cylinder using a Pop Link® Mounting System to ensure the flag was getting back to the home position each time.
